Hmm...Where do I start?

I won't say I've been busy but there's a lot going on.

Dad just bought a new computer from Sitex at Expo. Seriously, wow! He told me he had been going to Expo for quite some days even before I came from Genting. I guess he must have done his homework before purchasing the new, neat and smooth electronic equipment. Then the next day after he bought the computer, the whole family, without Mom, went to Expo again.

This time, the purpose of this trip is to get a new ram for Huan Ting's computer. Seriously, even with the new Windows Vista and its amazing big screen, the programs run like snails. Too slow for humans usage. I have to wait around 30 seconds( to Mars!) for the windows explorer to open and another 10 seconds for it to function. My God, you know the saying "Think about those kids in Africa who don't have the technology like us and we must be gracious for all of these.", I think these Africans might run out of patience and start whacking this computer like a bunch of savage barbarians.

Then I told Dad to buy new PC games. Yay! It's has been such a long time since I played a PC game. Sad enough, Huan Ting didn't get any games of her choice. Well, she almost told Dad to get a Spongebob Squarepants game, which looked totally lame and inadequate to provide a balanced wholesome fun for PC users. Maybe it's for kids. Oh wait, it IS for kids.

We passed by the Apple store and saw something that caught my attention. Hmmm mm, iPod Nano...It looks so damn sleek and it's screen is so amazing. It's one of the best technologies that I ever came across and I am not ashamed to say that I was considering getting one of them. Okay, cut the long story, in the end, we bought a total of 3 iPod Nano. One of them is mine, another is Huan Ting and the last one belongs to my elder sister. Apparently, this is my Christmas and birthday gift. And I'm not complaining. A gadget emanating such powerful presence that it penetrates my very soul, it's worth my Christmas and birthday gift. Thanks, Elder sister and Dad! =D

Moving on to another story!

Su Juen asked me to help to record a Super Mario Percussion Ensemble song. Now, besides playing the Marimba part, I have to learn up another Glockenspiel part which I'm learning for the first time. Farhan has just joined the crew and started practising on the drums with us today. It's a bit like jamming with your friends and this time, everybody is playing together and not as individuals. Sad, we had to move the instruments like the old times to another area because there was another NAFA percussionist who came in to practise.

This will be such a cool event to conclude this fruitful and joyous year. I finally get to be Jason Mraz in a recording studio, except I'll not be belting my lungs out but hitting pitched woods and metals at a speed of 20 miles per hour.

Don't ask me how I get that value for I am just playing around numbers like how Jason Mraz plays around with words and adding a sense of rhythm to it. *starts beat boxing* Ok, this lameness has to stop. Su Juen, you have to "thank" me for helping you out okay! =D

Now, I'm going off soon to play my Spidey PC game. Hopefully I won't get a seizure and have white bubbles foaming at my mouth. See ya and goodnight!
