Cooking Something Smokin' Hot!

Saturday, March 29, 2008

David Cook. The dark horse of American Idol. But on Wednesday night, he has sent a warning to all of the contestants by doing Chris Cornell's version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. It was an amazingly powerful performance. It was like watching his concert live on television. I have to say, he's better than Chris Daughtry. Without any further ado, here's David Cook!

And oh yeah, happy birthday to Camillie...It was only just yesterday.

Bulgarian Idol Audition

I was introduced to this video by my elder sister and my bro-in-law...Apparently he became famous at his workplace now. LOL

Introducing Mariah Carey's Ken Lee

Actual lyrics:
No I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way
The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows

I can't live
If living is without you

It's funny how she could mixed up "If living is without you" with "Tulibu dibu douchoooo". Anyway just have a laugh at it...The world will be doom if we use her kind of English...I'll be in stitches everyday! Hahaha!

March Holiday Madness

Sunday, March 16, 2008

Holidays are meant for students like us to relax and chill out. Yeah so I looked back at what I have done during this week...WOW! I was shocked! Are you kidding me? I've been out for three sickening remedial lessons and I did a lot of practice on my music Grade 5 exam. My gosh! Where are all the fun stuff? When was the last time I used the computer for over six frigging hours?

So here's the nutshell.

On Tuesday morning, I went to school for my Chemistry remedial, only to find myself doing titration method twice for two different experiments. I remembered that the first time when I did titration method, I overshot my drips for the experiment and it gone haywired. I'm proud to say I did it right this time! Band Practice was afterwards and I didn't had my lunch, but luckily Su Juen bought me chicken rice but I had it for my dinner instead.

Wednesday morning, I had Physics remedial, which we did another tiring experiment. It was my sister's birthday so my mother treated us to Jack's Place and she invited her sister too. She wasn't keen on spending a lot of money on the beefs so it was her fault that she didn't enjoy the real deal. I mean, seriously, you go to Jack's Place, where beef is their specialty, and you buy fish and chips?! I think she might had a better day if I bought her a present...

As for Thursday and Friday, I had Social Studies remedial which nearly bored me to tears so I played with the Rubrick's Cube. Thank God for Su Juen and Kelvin who revised with me Grade 5 music on both Thursday and Friday...

Saturday, me and other Grade 5 students took two taxis to Chai Chee Secondary for our exam. As we took our seats, I caught a glimpse of our paper...I saw the letter S there and paid no attention I realised something is wrong. S PAPER! MY GOD!! I turned to James and said "HEY, IT'S S PAPER SIA!". Then everybody went nuts.

Generally, it was manageable. It wasn't too hard but it was tricky. In order to get the right answer, you got to read the questions very very carefully, otherwise you could fail it all. It got one German term question and question that featured, I think, Grade 6...Damn, I hope I could do well..

So that's about...Bye people!
