With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
This is probably going to be the most crucial post I ever typed because it does not only consist important things I need to remind myself in band, it also apply to my life in the future.
On Saturday was PRSS Band Investiture 2007. This was something like a promotion, quite similar to Uniformed Groups promotion, for those who are not farmiliar with it. And I know you guys know that I'm not the person who can lead someone as I am practically a slacking dreamer. But this Saturday, the tables were turned, my days being a slacker has come to an end, as I had big posts and big responsibilities handed to me.
I don't want to mention what posts I got because I've thought it, posts are nothing except a title, and this title doesn't tell much of a person, does it? Only the achievements tells us what this person is truly worth. The posts and titles are just things that can help us do our jobs. Now I finally understand why Sir keep telling we band members about that.
This is a wake up call to me, it's telling me that I'm not suppose to stay behind and let others do their job. The band is now in our Sec3s and 4s hands so we should all work together and try to bring out the best for the Viva La. So this coming year, I hope I can do my best to lead the band and really hope my friends will be with me through the tough times. Cheers...=)
P.S Remember to be humble and not go yaya about it. This applies to me too.
