Pasir Ris Pie: Band Camp (Part 2)
Phew, finally the Band Camp is over and wow today was a emtionally-driven practice as everybody wanted to do well for the SYF so we turned off the lights at night in the band room and played in the dark without Sir conducting us. It was alright but we're not really united as we don't know when to come in. Sir told us that we play music with emotion and we started saying "Emo...emo...emo...emoshit..."
The music definetely brought light to the darken room and I seriously want that Gold with Honour because I believe we can do it! The Alumni came and sat nearby to see how do we do. I really loved today's practice. It wasn't about the how much improvement, but it's about the unity within the music of the band.
In the afternoon, Shaun was practising his Timpani parts because he can't get it right and I'm supposed to give him the timing because sometimes he slow down and he needs help. Hope that Shaun can make it! Jia you Shaun!
Mr Sim came and blah blah blah...I don't want type so much things but I just want you guys out there to know it was wonderful practice today! Woo! Go PRSS Band! Bye!
