Viva La Musica Concert!

Saturday, June 24, 2006

Yesterday, my band had a concert. I went to eat with my family just as to try out the dishes that is going to be served on my sister's wedding day. The food on the table was excellent, well okay...not excellent but delicious.

Then my parents brought me to Victoria Concert Hall for the rehearsal. Sir's hairstyle was quite similar to Qi Yao's one but he just added glitter to it. LOL. Really cool hairstyle, I must say.

Night soon arrived faster than I expected and the whole band had their dinner, I didn't eat much as I wasn't in the mood to eat. I was really feeling nervous as I was afraid, but all went well.

Mr. Pisit started us with the 1st song, Postcard From Singapore: Geylang Sipaku Geylang. He was standing on the second level and we have to raise our head just to see his conducting. lol

1st half was quite disappointing as Zheng Yi's clarinet solo didn't did as well during our practice
and rehearsal. And my set of drums part, I rushed at the frigging last part.

2nd half was fun and much better, the part where we have to drop our percussion instruments, Sir accidentally hit his stand and the whole stand just fell over, that added to the drama quite well. The audience really like it.

After the concert, we had to bring back our stuff back to band room, so while waiting, me and the other fellas took out our spray can and sprayed snow all over our members. Total chaos just broke out. Me and Farhan sort of fought as I was feeling really really high like hell, I sprayed the can on him until he frigging fed up and started chasing me. I slipped over the grass and he took the advantage by pouring water all over me. It was really fun. But was I truly happy? I don't know.

So now I'm going to stop writing right now, see you people next time. Bye

Thank you Little Manhattan movie!

Monday, June 12, 2006

I have no longer like her. Congratulations to me! Yeah, baby!

Thank you Choon Yi too! Your blog's first few words about Love had taught me the true meaning of it. I also want to thank Fadhil for sharing your heartbroken experience with me.

I finally bought my own copy of the Little Manhattan movie on VCD, and I realised it is very very similar to my love life situation between she and me, except we didn't go out and do stuff together. Little Manhattan is really a sweet love story and it will renew your own knowledge of Love, not like the kind of love where you break up and stead again. I simply just love this movie, Gabriel and Rosemary(picture on the right), aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh....., I just love these characters. Okay enough these stuff.

Today, my band had a Music Exchange at Kranji Secondary School and it was really an eye-opening experience. I got to meet a lot of girls(haha!!!) and I just say "hi" to them. There's this guy named Darren. Nice guy but too quiet. I was freaking out like hell because I don't know how to play the frigging music during sectional. I made friends with some gals but they're not chio la...just chiokay*. All act cute and stuff, so I acted it back to them. Soooooooo not my type. Bi Xuan compared to the other gals ah...they all damn pro, rolling techniques are so good and they are good sight-readers. I am considered lousy to them, haiz..so sad we didn't exchange anything with them...I meant their no.s and e-mail addresses. I hope to see them again so we can hook up in a corner and.......LOL joking only la, just want to make more friends from other schools. I'll stop here, bye.

Haiz...

Sunday, June 04, 2006

School Holidays have arrived and I don't feel like returning back to school when it ends. Viva La Concert coming soon and I have to go Band Camp this tuesday until thursday's noon. Haiz...really bored, man.

I've been spending my time watching South Park to get rid of my depression, I still don't know whether I should give up the girl that I like or not. It's a decision that is hard to make. I can't make up my mind, honestly. She's becoming like somebody I don't really like and I'm worried for her. I know I have my shortcomings and other stuff that other people don't like about me but when it comes to love and its other stuff, I'm serious about it. I'm just like Gabe from Little Manhattan, the guy who never gets the girl. I hate my love life, goddammit...

I'll stop here. See you guys next time.
